Yes. Because this version of Dyn Updater runs in your browser, the application needs to remain open and active to continue operating.
Closing the browser, closing the updater tab, shutting down the computer, or browser power-saving behavior may prevent the updater from continuing to run.
Can I close the tab after signing in?
No. Keep the Dyn Updater tab open while you want the browser-based updater to remain active.
Can I use Dyn Updater on more than one computer?
You can access updater.dyn.com from another modern browser or computer and sign in with your Dyn account.
However, avoid running multiple updater sessions for the same hostname from different internet connections.
Can I choose which hostnames are updated?
