Setting a service into Failover mode using the API requires specific syntax depending on whether you are using REST or SOAP. Use this table to find the syntax for your command.

ttl — Time To Live in seconds of records in the service. Must be less than 1/2 of the Health Probe’s monitoring interval. Valid values: 30, 60, 150, 300, 450
