Seeding provides you and Dyn’s Deliverability team an insight into your deliverability metrics across various ISPs. When an approved sender is opted into seeding, Dyn will automatically pull message content from your approved sender’s mail stream and send it to Dyn’s own seed email accounts with various ISPs around the world. Dyn’s deliverability team has access to this data now to help solve customer issues and work to improve platform deliverability.

To Add Seeding to an Approved Sender

Note: Approved senders are set as ‘Opt In’ to seeding by default. These instructions are provided in the event an approved sender has been opted out of seeding on purpose and needs to be added back in.
1. Open the Approved Senders view. Email Approved Senders
2. Select the approved sender email address you want to opt into seeding.  Email Approved Sender Opt In
3. Select the Seeding: Opt In option from the Action column. Email Seeding Opt In
4. Click the Save button to add Seeding for the selected approved sender. Save Button

To Remove Seeding From An Approved Sender

1. Open the the Approved Senders view. Email Approved Senders
2. Select the approved sender email address you want to opt out of seeding.  Email Approved Sender Seeding
3. Select the Seeding: Opt Out option from the Action column. Email Seeding Opt Out
4. Click the Save button to remove seeding for the selected approved sender. Save Button
