Attach a managed DNS domain to a policy. DNS query responses are determined by the Dynamic Steering Rule filters.
Use these instructions to create, update, or remove an attached domain.
Note: Removing an attached domain from a Dynamic Steering policy only removes the association within Dynamic Steering. The domain continues to exist in your managed DNS account.
Attach a Domain
Click on the graphic to enlarge the picture.
Click the check box on the left of an existing Policy to expand the panel on the right.
Click Manage Policy to open the view. |

To Attach a New Domain:
Subdomain: Enter a subdomain to be attached to the policy.
Domain (required): Enter a domain to be attached to the policy. The domain must be a valid entry in the Managed DNS account associated with this Dynamic Steering instance. |

Click the Add button to attach the domain to the Policy. |

Click Publish Changes to save the Policy Attached Domains list.
Click Discard Changes to undo any non-published changes. |

Update or Change an Attached Domain
Attached domains cannot be updated to changed. They can only be deleted and recreated.
To Update or Change an Attached Domain:
1. Delete the current attached domain.
2. Attach a new domain. |
Delete an Attached Domain

Click the check box on the left of an existing Policy to expand the panel on the right.
Click Manage Policy to open the view. |

Click the ‘X’ next to the domain name to delete.
The attached domain will disappear from the domain list. |

Click Publish Changes to save the Policy Attached Domains list.
Click Discard Changes to undo any non-published changes. |
