Monitors measure IP prefixes in the inventory for unexpected routing changes. In order to monitor an IP prefix, you must add it to an inventory.
The inventory header will display ‘Monitoring’ when monitors are enabled. The header will be empty if monitors are disabled. When the monitor detects an alert, the inventory header changes to ‘Alerting’.

| 2. Open the Inventories view. |  |
| 3. Open the inventory to turn off the monitors. Click the inventory header (top). |  |
| 4. Set the toggle switch on the Inventory report page to Monitoring Off. |  |
