Updating an existing SSHFP Record using the API requires specific syntax depending on whether you are using REST or SOAP. Use this table to find the syntax for your command.

algorithm — Required. Enter the number associated with the algorithm you are using.
Valid values:
1=RSA
2=DSS

fptype — Required. Enter the number associated with the fingerprint type you are using.

1=SHA-1

ttl — TTL for the record in seconds. Set to “0” to use zone default.
